I'm very computer literate and was looking for a good beginners guide COMPLETE WITH PICTURES AND EXAMPLES for my 86 year old mother in law, who does use a computer, and just got a Kindle Fire Tablet. I thought this "guide" would be along the format of " _______ for Dummies", and have step by step picture examples of how to do things. I searched Amazon by highest reviewed ratings, and this was at the top of the list.For $11.95, this 40+ page "manual" in my opinion is a huge waste of money and would be of very little use to a new user because it contains NO "show me how" pictures. I could write a better manual, complete with step by step pictures of HOW to do something for my mother in law, and that's what I'm going to do, capturing screen shots of what to click on, where to click on, how to click on, etc., which is what a NEW user is going to want, to be Shown how to do something not just told in text how to do something. Maybe I should publish my visual guide of how to do things on a Kindle Fire when I'm done writing it for her. It will certainly be easier for her to understand and learn from that this "guide", and it will be longer than 40 pages. Really disappointed, and this is going back to Amazon today.
I learned the basics as well as some of the tricks to use on my Kindle. I now have more things to try to use, I have been only been using it as an ereader. I' m looking forward to checking out more of items available on my reader. Easy to understand with plenty of examples which were very helpful. Good book for the basics plus.
If you want to know more about Amazon Kindle Fire HD 10 this book is definitely for you. You will be able to know how to install it, use it and some trouble shoot. The book was written in a very simple way with less technical languages for better and easier understanding.
not very detailed
I was very disappointed in this publication. I found little helpful information. I was really seeking help with photo and picture album development and there was nothing there. It wasn't worth the $$ I paid for it.
I was hoping for some insight that I already had no discovered in setting up my Fire, but nothing new here if you are already using your fire.
Explains more fuctions and better than other books. Reccmmended over other books.
Excellent manual for beginners or light tablet users. Should not state 'Advanced'.
