In this volume, the cast deals with the consequences of Kaname's shocking actions as the lives of several characters are thrown into chaos.Shizuka's death has the immediate result of sicking the vampire Senate on Zero - who is, of course, the logical prime suspect - a situation not particularly helped by the fact that Kaname doesn't pipe up about the truth. He does, however, rally the night class around Zero to help avert a disaster.On more personal levels, Ichijo starts to stress over Kaname, very aware that he isn't himself, at the same time that Kain starts worrying over Aido - who spirals into a deep depression as he suffers the burden of being the only witness to Kaname's capital crime at the end of the last volume, having been at the doorway at the critical moment.Unable to handle staying in Moon Dorm under the circumstances, and with the Headmaster busy dealing with damage control, he turns to Yuki and Zero - who take him in as a roommate in Sun Dorm, seeing that he's clearly upset although he won't tell them details. In some ways, this is actually Aido's volume, as he and Yuki verge on a tentative friendship, and he shows that he has at least a shred of integrity and isn't a complete and total malicious jerk when the living arrangements inevitably lead to him finding out the whole situation between Yuki and Zero. The scenes between the three are both amusing (we're talking Yuki and Aido dorming together, need we say more?) and surprisingly touching considering Aido's personality as we've known it thus far.As Kaname goes to confront the Senate with backup from Ichijo and Kain, Vampire Knight continues to develop it's character relationships and political jockeying among the vampire clans, and continues to become much more interesting than it seemed it would in the initial volumes.

My neice was the cause of my ordering this one-I'm kind of behind on the times when it comes to the whole anime thing (SpeedRacer and Battle of the Planets were about the only ones I remembered from my childhood)-but through the miracle of Amazon, I can be brought totally up to date on all those manga and other comic book art forms that read from back to front! My neice loved this as her Christmas present -actually one of several from Amazon, so I give this one a 5-star rating.

But honestly I'm remembering some something I heard. How someone watched/read this and didn't remember much about it after words.

I love this show, so I bought this book to see how much I'd like it.I was not disappointed.I love it as much as the series, will buy more for my new collection!

I loved Vampire Knight vol. 5. It was continued from the previous volume of the manga. Kaname killed Shizuka Hio, she killed Zero's parents 4 years ago and attacked him. Anyway, I love this 5th volume of Vampire Knight. It is absolutely amazing!

This series is getting much more interesting. I was drawn to the art when I bought the first one but with each volume I find myself rushing to the end. I cna easily see this one as an anime and would gladly watch every episode. I can't wait for more!

Wow. What a woman. This book is good not just for married women (or married people), although if you are a woman in an unhappy marriage, this could be extremely helpful for you. This book is good for ALL Christians, married and unmarried, male and female. This woman is clearly a saint, and she shares what is essentially the secret of life for all of us: dying to self for the good of the other. Don't miss this story.

Her practical admonitions are simple but certainly require Grace to be lived out!The prologue by her spouse is as much a treasure to read as her own work. I can not say enough good things about this book. Elizabeth seems like the woman friend that I've never had. She's a real person, with all the faults and foibles that come with that condition, yet she manages to become a truly great example of what it means to live as a Christian. Can't wait to get to heaven (with the help of this book) so I can meet the author in person!

She learned, by God’s grace, to offer herself completely to God to convert her husband. This book takes you through all her sacrifices & penances. Beautiful & inspiring.

Really overpriced. This woman was definitely holy but I just don't care for how her husband comes across, before and after his conversion. Maybe just me.

"The Secret Diary of Elisabeth Leseur" is unique because it is the spiritual diary writings of a married woman. There are many married women today seeking holiness in their lives as wives and mothers. This is a book for them! They will find profound and useful spiritual direction in the words of Elisabeth Leseur, whose love for God gave her a steadfast, faithful and fruitful love for her husband. I can't recommend this book highly enough to women who are seeking holiness in their vocation of marriage.

Very beautiful and poetic writing. I find it inspiring. Good reading to draw one nearer to God and reflect on how all our actions and thoughts should be made for His glory....even if not noticed by others.

Love Scott Kelby's Books! Practical, easy to follow and always filled with the latest, up to date information. So much is changing in technology/photography today. If you are using a DSLR, you MUST pay attention to all that the sensors/computer inside your camera offers when properly matched up with your computer/iOS/PC and the various software products available. Photoshop and Lightroom are cutting edge and maintain relationships with the major manufacturers of not just our cameras but also the sensors, lenses and color processors etc. Scott Kelby makes it his business to BE IN THE KNOW so that YOU CAN BE TOO! He and his team of Kelby One instructors are brilliant in Kelby One books and YouTube and of course their membership program but this book is your GO TO. Cannot say enough.

I found the first edition of this book invaluable, and the 2nd edition even more so. Excellent examples, clear directions, downloadable photos so the user can follow Scott's steps exactly and on the same image and get exactly the same results -- a really valuable learning tool. Same high quality pub as all Scott's books. Worth every penny.

This book could be better titled "Photoshop Tips for Photographers." A few good tips, a lot of gaps, no references and a wasteful book design with much of the valuable white space consumed with tiny unusable illustrations and vanity , irrelevant prose from Kelby. Pros: A good video on the book's internet page illustrating how to set up a great PS workspace for Photog's; Kelby's method for HDR producing great results for church interiors, extensive chapter on retouching female portraits; Cons: No discussion or tips on male portraits. no references or explanations on many topics particularly architecture, no discussion of Dodging & Burning, very little discussion of color and how to manipulate it.The book is barely worth the price.

I am a huge Kelby fan and purchase many of his books. For the money you are better off buying one of the other best selling photoshop books including Kelby's. This book is thin on pages and thin on content for the price. I recommend you take a look at your bookseller before you invest in this volume.

Very disappointed in this waste of trees. Nothing new and poorly organized best tips which we all know through the internet or as subscribers. SAD

Great book! As a Lightroom user, I don’t need to know everything about Photoshop, just what I can’t do in Lightroom. This book simply and clearly explains just that. Highly recommended for Lightroom users.

I've been reading Josh's information about China for several months. I found this book to be very nice because all the info is in one place. Does he answer ALL the questions anyone might have (like the 3* reviewer)? No but that would be impossible. What this book does is give you a lot of guidance about a lot of things, some of which have probably not occurred to you yet. Along with this are many links to further guidance. If you're planning a trip to China, this book can't possibly NOT be beneficial in some way. And the price is wonderful.

I really appreciated the information in this book. It was an easy read and I loved the personal and conversational tone of the book. Josh shares his personal experiences and does an excellent job painting a realistic picture of what to expect when visiting China.He covers everything from the types of food you can expect, to major holidays that are observed, to tourist traps, to Chinese Visas, and everything in between. The book also gives you some very important reality checks that many travelers may not consider.This book helps to prepare you for the situations you will never think of, or would be impossible to think of unless you already have prior experience. If you were on the fence about visiting China, this book will definitely tip the scales in either direction because you will be left with accurate knowledge and more realistic expectations of China.

The content is great! Very helpful and full of links and recommendations, all given in the down-to-earth manner you'd expect of this author. However, there's no table of contents so you have to scroll through the entire book to find the section you want. A bit frustrating.

It's not often that a purchase pays for itself in the first few minutes you use it; this little guide did! Great and accurate information that saves both time and money. It helps to explain the VISA process and where to obtain it quickly if you wish...cut through the red tape with this information. I cannot recommend this book more highly. Buy and enjoy your travel time with fewer worries.

This book doesn't tell you where to go or what to see but rather gives you the information you need to structure your trip. Train stations, bus stations, visiting people, getting your visa, why Air BnB might not be your best choice, money issues- all the nuts and bolts of good planning. We are going In a couple of months and I am certain that this book has saved me from a multitude of serious mistakes.

This book is an absolute treasure chest of helpful, practical information for anyone with an interest in, or plan to travel to China. Not only will the clearly curated info save time spent researching and help avoid travel headaches, but the writing is also witty and enjoyable. Summers invites the reader into a friendly conversation. It is the travel book equivalent of the best possible trip preparation: sitting at the table with a friend who happens to be a seasoned expert in the country.

This book is a great resource to help you prepare for your trip to China! You can learn about the details of all the different forms of transportation, what you need to know to apply for a visa, and how to communicate both to people in China as well as staying connected to people back home. Maybe I should've read more reviews! I bought it as inspiration for my metal detecting husband. I was a little embarrassed it was so short and written at a 5th grade level with big print. No pics.He appreciated it and was motivated hence the three stars.

What a great collection of stories of metal detecting finds. Most of these are extremely rare and big discoveries. Very interesting.

Really a good read. The difference between this book and other treasure hunting books I have is this book cuts to the end and tells you what your rewards are for all your efforts. Highly recommend. D.O.L.
